May 16, 2011 at age 88. Predeceased by loving wife, Dorothy; parents, Bruno and Mary (Doerrerr) Kolb; brothers, Bernard, George, Herbert and Martin Kolb; sisters, Marion Kraft and Teresa Reulbach. He is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, devoted friends and fellow golfers.
Ray was a WWII US Navy Veteran and participated in the Honor Flight. He retired from West Irondequoit School District. Ray was a longtime golf enthusiast, former President of the Rochester District Golf Association and Rules Official, former member of Craig Brae, Ontario and Blue Heron Country Clubs.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 28th 9:30 AM at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Rd. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Honor Flight Rochester Inc., PO Box 23581, Rochester, NY 14692.
