After 90 trips around the sun Raymond passed away on September 23, 2025.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 48 years, Joan L. Kole and brother, Donald R. Kole.
Raymond is survived by his children, Rick Kole, Linda Albright, Patricia (Joe Weber) Kole; grandchildren, Greg (Gina), Rick (Nikki), Mark (Emily) Albright, Brianna and Joseph Weber; 6 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Christine Kole; niece, Denise Bull; nephew, Kenneth Kole; significant other of 15 years, Christine Hoffman.
Services will be held privately per Raymond's wishes.
Raymond was not just known for his engaging personality but also for his unwavering passion for the great outdoors. His pursuits in hunting, camping, and boating allowed him to embrace the beauty of nature and share those moments with family and friends. In addition to his love for the wild, he found solace on the golf course, where he cherished every swing of the club and every laugh shared with companions. Raymond was also an enthusiastic Florida snowbird, embracing the sun-soaked beaches and warm breezes while relishing the friendships he fostered in those sandy shores.
A self-proclaimed technology enthusiast, Raymond was always eager to explore new gadgets and innovations, often marveling at how they could enhance our lives and keep us connected. His curiosity extended to flying, a pursuit that brought him immense joy and freedom as he soared through the skies.
Raymond's adventurous spirit and warm demeanor will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure to call him a friend or family member. His legacy will continue to inspire those who loved him, reminding us all to appreciate the great outdoors, cherish our friendships, and embrace the adventures life has to offer. As we gather our memories of him, we will carry forward the laughter, lessons, and love he so generously shared throughout his remarkable life.
