Predeceased by her parents, Joe & Julia Newton; siblings, Rosie, Ollamae, Theresa, Willie, Joe Jr., & Sarah.
She is survived by her children, Rose Smith, Olla Newton-Martin, Timothy Newton, & Jason Newton; sisters, Julia, Vera, & JoAnn; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Family will receive friends 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Christian Community Church, 4352 Lake Ave., where her Home Going Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, 2650 Lake Avenue.
