Richard C. Boss

Richard C. Boss passed away on July 7th, 2026 at the age of 87.

He was predeceased by his son, Kenneth.

Dick is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Marylou (Mulcahy) Boss; his children, Christine (George) Steger, Susan (Steven) Fletcher, and Amy Boss; grandchildren, Daniel (Courtney) Steger, Kate Steger, Annie (Barrett) Russell, Wyatt (Kenzie) Boss, Joseph Fletcher, Michael Fletcher, and Laura Fletcher; great-grandchildren, Siena and Willa Steger, Quinn Russell, and Callahan Boss; siblings, Maryann Fousse and Tom (Elaine) Boss; brother and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.

After graduating from the University of Detroit, Dick worked his entire career as an engineer for Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY. Dick enjoyed hunting, fishing, cowboy movies and the Buffalo Bills.

A heartfelt thanks to Monroe Community Hospital Staff for the uncompromising and compassionate care Dick received on Hope 2.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10am on Friday, July 17th, 2026 at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N Greece Rd.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of St. Josephs or Monroe Community Hospital in his memory.
