Greece: January 10, 2012. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 43 years, Callista (Esterguard), parents, Leo and Blandina Kirsch and brother, Alvin. Survived by children, Eric (Irina), Kristin (Andrae Evans) and Keven; grandchildren, Phillip Schlinke, Keven Kirsch, Jr., Becca (Brandon) Burtis, Ariel and Gabriel Evans; great-granddaughter, Julia Burtis.
Richard retired from a long career with the United States Postal Service, enjoyed many years as a volunteer clown and was an US Air Force Korean War era veteran.
Friends may call Mon. Jan. 16 from 2-6 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM Jan. 17 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave., Rochester, NY 14616. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Charles Borromeo.
