Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Frances Lauriat. Brothers, Michael and Ken Lauriat.
Survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Mary Jo Lauriat. Sons, Charles (Christine) Lauriat, Joseph (Katheryn) Lauriat, Andrew (Marcie) Lauriat and William (Tanya) Lauriat. Grandchildren, Christian, Rowyn and Ellie. Sister, Helen (Richard) Weber. Several nieces and nephews, dear friends.
Richard was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, and brother. Always putting others first. He provided well for his family over many years of hard work. His last employer was Greece Central School District as a school bus monitor. The children will miss him dearly. Richard was a proud veteran of the US Army. He will be missed by all that knew him.
On Wednesday morning at 9:30am, November 5, 2025, friends may assemble at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park, Rochester, NY 14615 for mass of Christian burial. Interment following at 1pm in Western New York National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Rd, Corfu, NY 14036.
Full military honors by the US Army will be held at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Follow the link below to donate.
