Derrig, Richard P.
Gates: Passed peacefully Sunday February 16, 2014 at age 79 with his family at his side. He is survived by his daughters, Dianne (Bill) Skinner, Leanne Donovan (Chris Frazier); grandchildren, Jamie Cantrell, Nicole (Derrick) Bevington, Krystal Mason, Tommy Donovan; great-grandchildren, Collin, Austin, Grayson, Jocelyn; and the mother of his children, Joanne Grieco-Derrig sisters, Patricia, Rose, Florence, Cathy; brother, Michael; several nieces and nephews. Richard was an avid golfer and bowler.
The family will receive friends Saturday February 22nd from 1-4 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. where a Service with Military honors will immediately follow calling hours at 4 PM. Private interment. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626 or to Camp Good Days and Special Times, 1332 Pittsford Mendon Rd., PO Box 665, Mendon, NY 14506.
