McDonald, Richard W. "Dick"
Rochester: Unexpectedly on Sunday, April 20, 2008, at age 70 after suffering a heart attack at home. Predeceased by his father, Jack McDonald. He is survived by his mother, Shirley; 5 children, Cindy (John) Uher of Tampa, FL., Bonnie (Jerry) Warner of Pleasant Hill, OH., Stu (Marcey) McDonald of Chicago, IL., Kerri (Don) McDonald of Brooklyn, NY, Scott (Mary) McDonald of Greece; 3 grandchildren, Jacob and Bethany Warner and Ben Uher. Former wife, Joan McDonald of Tampa, FL.; 3 sisters, Bette Ward, Jackie Dowd and Audrey Rood. Predeceased by his pet and constant companion, Annie.
Dick served on the USS Alameda County for a tour of duty in the Mediterranean and was honorably discharged in 1962. He settled in Rochester and co-founded ACM Labs.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 24th from 4-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where a Military Service with honors will be held at 8 PM. Interment Private. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450
