Rikki S. Strassner
Greece: Born February 25th, 1950, passed after a 2 year brave and courageous battle with cancer, left us on August 8th 2013 to soar with the eagles. Rik was a Vietnam veteran of Post 468 and retired after 32 years from the Rochester City School District.
Predeceased by his parents John & Betty Strassner, and brother Keith Strassner. Survived by his loving wife Patricia Y. (Encao-Danesi); loyal canine companion, Cisco; boisterous Indian ringed necked parakeet, Captain; sister, Martha Burnham; sisters-in-law, Linda Campanaro-Glover (John), Barbara (Ken) Whiting, June Deutsch, Kimberly (David) Usselman; nieces, Lori (Michael) Martin, Janelle, Nicole; nephews, Sean, Anthony; great niece, Mikayla; great nephew, Michael.
A special Thanks for the excellent care and support from Renee Ostromecki, Jessica Mattia, Jennifer DeMarco, Jaquelyn Terry of Lifetime Care as well as Dr. Elizabeth Guancial and Beth Ann of Wilmot Cancer Center.
A Memorial Ceremony will be celebrated at 2 PM on Sunday August 18th at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave.
