Robbie Bitter

Passed away suddenly on June 19, 2026 at the age of 77.

Predeceased by her father, Robert W. Hage Sr.; mother, Grace E. Hage.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, John Bitter; siblings, Vickie (Joe Ruocco) Hage, Penny (Michael) Ketchek & Robert (Monica) Hage Jr.; nieces & nephews, Belle (Sam) Morris, Jim (Emily) Ruocco & Anthony Hage; sister-in-law, Nancy Parsons; brother-in-law, Jim Bitter; and her loving cat, Dewey.

Robbie and John shared a love that lasted more than 50 years, a bond built on friendship, devotion, and being truly inseparable. They were best friends in every sense of the word and would do anything for one another. Whether it was long drives, adventures, or simply wherever life happened to take them, Robbie was always by John’s side, because being together was what mattered most. She had a heart big enough for every living thing, opening it to stray animals and any critter that needed love—even skunks. She found joy in feeding birds, caring for animals, and losing herself in the pages of a good book, never meeting a piece of literature she wouldn’t gladly read. Robbie’s gentle spirit, loving heart, and quiet kindness will be cherished and deeply missed.

Family will receive friends Monday, June 29, 2026 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Boulevard.

Interment will be held immediately after at Webster Rural Cemetery, 1087 Ridge Road, Webster, NY, 14580. Please plan to meet at the main entrance at 11:00 AM.
