Robert J. Eckert "Bob"

Life long member of the Rochester area, passed away Sunday Nov. 2nd 2025 at age 82.

Bob is predeceased by his parents, Jeanne and William J. Eckert Jr. and his brother Richard Eckert.

He leaves his loving wife of 58 years Ruth I. Eckert, his son Jay Marrow, grandchildren Nathan Marrow and Lauren (Andy) Cole, sister Cheryl (Keith) Weber, brother, William (Nancy) Eckert. nieces Kerry Gateson and Courtney (Michael) Bailey, Beth Anne (John) Conley, William (Lori) Eckert IV, Julie (Bob) Eckert-Klock and Karin Eckert as well as great nieces and nephews and cousins. Bob was the President at Diversified Envelopes, Rochester Wire & Plastic Binding Co.

Bob was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in France. He played the trumpet in the Grey Knights Drum & Bugle Corps and was also a 3rd & 4th degree Knight of Columbus. He was known as a good bowler, he was the Past VP & President of Riverside Bindery,and the past President of the Craftsmen's club.

Calling hours will be held Thursday Nov. 20th from 4pm to 6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday Nov. 21st at 10 am at St. Kateri Parish, Christ the King Church at 445 Kings Highway, Rochester N.Y. 14617.
