Predeceased by his sons, Mark and David A. Brownyard. Brother, David C. Brownyard.
Survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Joanne Brownyard. Children, Susan (David) DiPasquale, Elizabeth (Dave) Hetrick, Bob Jr. (Marybeth), Thomas Sr. (Sharon) and Brian (Crystal); daughters-in-law, Mary Jane and Jackie. Grandchildren, Christine (Mark), Stacy (LeeAnne), Joseph (Macy), Lynsie (Evan), Jamie (Kyle), Casey (Adam), Michael (Giovanna), Kevin (Lauren), Matthew, David Lewis, Elizabeth (Kyle), Chelsea (Brady), Christopher (Meaghan), Mark (Danielle), Patrick (Morgan), Jennifer, Thomas Jr. (Kelly) and Andrew. 32 Great Grandchildren. Sister, Patricia Kelly. Brother in laws, Robert Kalb, Richard Kalb. Sister-in-law, Patricia Behrens. Many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Bob was born and raised in Rochester and Dolgeville, NY. He was married to his wife, Joanne for 71 years, meeting at the Star Market where Bob was the manager. He then started a new chapter at Xerox Corp for 28 years in Webster. Retiring from Xerox, he then was a parking attendant at The Highland Hospital Parking Garage. Bob loved golf, gardening and their cottage in the 1000 islands on Chaumount Bay. Bob and Joanne are dedicated parishioners and volunteers at St. Boniface Church. Bob had a passion for singing and was actively involved with the choir. He was a proud veteran of the US Army.
The family will receive friends from 3-6pm Wednesday May 27, 2026 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. (corner of Culver Rd.) On Thursday morning assemble at St. Boniface Church, 330 Gregory St. Rochester, NY 14620 for his mass of Christian burial at 10am. Entombment White Haven Memorial Park.
