Greece: Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 24th 2014 at age 88. He was predeceased by his parents, Herbert & Florence Brickell; sister, Marjorie Cox; brother, Herbert Brickell Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Anne (Silletti) Brickell; sons, Robert (Pamela), Richard (Sue), Thomas (Dawn) Brickell; many nieces & nephews.
He was a beloved husband and devoted father. Bob was a dedicated educator, coach, & mentor with the Greece Central School District, as well as the Chairman of the Board GVTTC. He was also a long standing member of St. Charles Borromeo Church & St Matthews Church in Livonia. Bob was a WWII Navy veteran and was a Naval Photographer during his service. He was an avid skier, fisherman, table tennis player and enjoyed his summers at his cottage on Conesus Lake.
Visitation Hours will be held on Tuesday, December 30th 2014 from 4-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, December 31st at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave., Rochester, NY 14616.
