A beloved son, devoted brother, cherished uncle, and loyal friend, passed away in Rochester on November 5, 2025. Born on October 8, 1982, in Rochester, Robert was a vibrant spirit whose life was marked by his passion for the great outdoors and his unwavering love for family and friends.
Raised in a close-knit family, Robert was the son of Sharon (Cooper) Faber and the late Mark Faber, who predeceased him in 2019. He was also preceded in death by his brother Richard in 1976 and his nephew David Faber in 2006. These losses shaped Robert's character, inspiring him to cherish every moment with those he loved.
Robert’s adventurous spirit found solace in his hobbies as a hunter and fisherman, where he spent many joyful hours exploring nature’s wonders. His enthusiasm for life was infectious, and he shared countless memories with loved ones during these excursions.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Sharon, along with his brothers Jason (Beth) Faber and Shawn Faber. Robert’s family expanded to include his beloved nephews, Colin, Kendrick, and Atlas Faber, who brought him immense joy. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and many cousins who will remember him for his warmth and laughter. A host of loyal friends and his faithful dog Gotty offered Robert companionship that enriched his life.
The community is invited to celebrate Robert’s life and legacy during the following services. A visitation will be held on November 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, Eastside, located at 6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY. A memorial service will follow at the same location from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. Later in the afternoon, a celebration of life will take place at a Family friends Barn, 6915 Routes 5&20, Bloomfield, NY, starting at 3:00 PM.
Robert William Faber will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who gathered around him throughout his life, forever remembering the adventures shared and the love exchanged.
