Greece: Thursday, November 8, 2007 at age 62. Predeceased by his mother, Elsie McMahon. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Cathy (Shafer); son, Michael Murtagh; daughter, Siobhan Murtagh; sisters, Edna (Buddy) Ziefel, Bev Johnson and Marion Ferra; brothers, Ronald and Wayne (Janet) McMahon; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Frank and Jean Messina.
Family and friends may call Monday 5-8:30 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where his Funeral Service will follow at 8:30 PM.
Family and friends may gather at the Lake Avenue, gate of Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Tuesday at 10 AM for a Graveside Service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.
