Irondequoit: Passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 9, 2011, at age 72. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank & Luella Fields; brother, Gordon; sister, Linda; and father-in-law, Victor Bell. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 45 years, Beverly; daughters, Michele (Donnie) Ryan, Cheryl (Kenneth) Comstock; 4 grandchildren, Ashley & Jacob Ryan, Caitlin & Krysten Comstock; brothers, Gary (Diane) Fields, Donald (Nancy) Fields; sisters, Janice Dawson & Cynthia (James) Perry; mother-in-law, Edie Bell; brother-in-law, Michael Bell; sister-in-law, Michele (Rev. Kenneth) Tesch; along with several nieces & nephews. Bob was a United States Navy veteran. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Cindy Perry for all of her help and support.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 12th, 4-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 AM at Christ the King Church, 445 Kings Hwy South. Interment, Irondequoit Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Rochester-Lifetime Care (Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center), 3111 Winton Rd. South, Rochester, NY 14623.
