Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Betty J.; daughters, Kathleen (Joseph) Dengler of Geneseo, NY and Barbara (Tom) Roberts of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Linda Hamler and Lori Clontz, both of Shelby, NC, Zachary (Tawney) Roberts of Boston, MA and Meredith Roberts of Denver, CO; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandsons; sister, Wally O'Connell and Charlotte "Lot" Caudle. Predeceased by his sister, Elsa Tripp.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, March 2nd, 10:30-11:30 AM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. His Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
