Mr. Robert James Lovett III age 70, went to rest on April 23rd 2026.
Robert was born on August 7h, 1955 in Genesse, PA in route to Rochester, NY by his parents James and Ivory Lovett.
He graduated from Jefferson High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force. Completed four years with Honorable Discharge. Pastor Lovett also obtained an Associate’s Degree from MCC in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s Degree from Robert Wesleyan in Criminal Justice. He also received a Lifetime Achievement Award signed by President Barack Obama and a Special Mayoral Recognition from Mayor Lovely A. Warren for Volunteer Service for Work Feeding and Caring for many, many people in the community. Pastor Lovett also worked for various Law Firms and at Highland Hospital in the SPD Department.
He was a servant at Bethany Spiritual Church of God for over 20 years under the leadership of the late Pastor James Hunter. Pastor Lovett had the calling on hid life to start Word of the Kingdom Ministries, feed the people with the word of God for over 25 years until he was unable to do so because of his illness.
A loving husband of 35 years to his wife Carol Lovett, an amazing father to his five children, Ben T. Alston, Erica (Rod) Tripp, Joshua A. McIntyre, Robert I. Lovett, and Jordan M. Lovett. Living Siblings, Todd Lovett, Eric Lovett, Lance Lovett, Bridgett Lovett, Brenda (James) Shaw, and Sharon Godwin of Ovideo, FL. Eleven Grandchildren, nine Great-Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Predeceased by Father James Lovett, Mother Ivory Lovett, and Sister Beverly Lovett.
