Passed away on May 25th, 2018 at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Katharine Sheffield; daughter and son in-law, Karen and Robert Gerenski; grand-daughter Katie (Joseph) Gallo; great-grandson, Daniel Gallo; 4 brothers and 2 sisters along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was one of 17 children born in Brockport NY to George and Marie Sheffield. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a retiree of Eastman Kodak. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and trapping. He was an antique bottle collector and was a longtime member of the Genesee Valley Bottle collectors Association. Family will receive friends 11AM - 1PM, followed by a service at 1PM on Thursday May 31st, 2018 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Interment Private. Contributions may be made to, Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America 355 Lexington Avenue, 15th Floor New York, NY 10017.
