Spencerport: Passed peacefully Thursday, January 28, 2016 at age 77. He was predeceased by brother, Thomas. He is survived by loving wife of 37 yrs, Margaret "Peggy"; children, Jeff (Marilou), Erin, Kristin Ward (Christopher Scott); grandchildren, Devin, Owen & Evelyn Ward, Matilda & Eloise Scott, Sarah Walsh; sister, Elizabeth Libengood; brother, Joseph Leslie Walsh. Roger was a retired educator, writer and musician.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 3rd from 2-4 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. where a Memorial Service will follow calling hours at 4 PM. Private interment. Memorial contributions in Roger's name may be directed to St. Ann's Community, 1500 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621 or to Roberts Wesleyan College School of Nursing, 2301 Westside Dr., Rochester, NY 14624.
