Roger J. McGrain

Predeceased by his parents, Richard Sr. and Marion (Becker) McGrain, and his brothers, Richard McGrain Jr. and Michael McGrain Sr. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Rosanne (DiMarco) McGrain; his children, Kimberly McGrain, Christopher and Toni (Wilson) McGrain, and Sean and Bridget McGrain; and his cherished grandchildren, Arabella, Donavin, DMitri, Londyn, and Raelyn. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Linda McGrain; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frank and Sheryl DiMarco, Paul DiMarco and Kelly Spangenberg, and Cary Anderson; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Roger was an active part of his kids’ lives. He was a dedicated coach for his kids’ softball and baseball teams; always supporting them both on and off the field and volunteered his time for his kids’ school activities and CYO basketball games. Roger cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren—whether cheering them on at sporting events or reading bedtime stories. He was an avid supporter of the New York Yankees and New York Giants.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7th, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations may be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.
