Ronald K. Barlow
July 25, 1935 — April 9, 2014
Webster: April 9, 2014 at age 78.
He is predeceased by his parents, Ransome "Red" and Margaret Barlow, and his daughter, Deborah A. Barlow.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Schreiner Barlow; his son, Martin (Diana Smith Barlow); daughter, Patty (Mike) Reed; grandchildren, John and Brian Reed and Jared and Nicki Barlow; brother, Jerry (Renate) Barlow; many nieces and nephews and special cousins, Fritz and Boots Sayre.
Ron was a past employee of the Democrat and Chronicle. Ron was past editor of the local Labor News.
He was known and loved in his neighborhood as Big Ron. The love of a good golf game (not his own golf game) could only be outshined by watching his grandkids play baseball, basketball and soccer.
Over the years he spent time touring the northeast finding those elusive lighthouses with his trusty navigator and wife, Donna (Butch). While Donna couldn't really navigate, their constant traveling companions, Ed and Carol Seitz could kind of read a map so it was always an interesting trip.
His Memorial Mass will be held Monday, April 21 at 11:15AM at St. Rita's Church, 1008 Maple Drive, Webster, NY 14580.
Private Interment.
