Ronald P. Reynolds, a proud army veteran and devoted family man, passed away on June 4, 2026. Born on April 3, 1947, Ronald lived a life marked by unwavering love for his family and a spirit that left a memorable impression on all who knew him.
Ronald was a unique personality, remembered fondly for his spirited nature and a penchant for always having the last word in every conversation. His unwavering belief in his children’s goodness was a testament to his steadfast support and devotion as a father. He found great joy and pride in his grandchildren, whom he loved deeply—indeed, his greatest pride was in the family he nurtured and cherished throughout his life.
Aside from his dedication to family, Ronald enjoyed fishing and bowling, pastimes that brought him happiness and relaxation. These leisure activities reflected his grounded spirit and appreciation for simple pleasures. He retired from Kodak after a career of over ten years.
Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-six years, Valerie; his children, Michael and Carrie; grandchildren Timmy II (Meghan), and Ashley, married to Jim; as well as his great-grandchildren, Little Timmy III and Jimmy. His circle of affection extended further to many nieces and nephews and a large extended family who treasured his presence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Charlotte, whose memories he carried with respect and love.
A visitation will be held on June 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, Westside, located at 2636 Ridgeway Avenue in Rochester, NY. Following the visitation, a memorial service will take place at the same location from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM to honor Ronald’s life and legacy.
Ronald P. Reynolds leaves behind a legacy of strength, dedication, and an enduring love for family that has touched many. He will be remembered not only as a proud veteran and loving husband and father but as a man whose spirit and convictions will continue to inspire those who knew him.
