Rosalie McEvily

Passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 85.

Predeceased by her husband of 64 years, William J. McEvily; parents, Philip & Rose Ferraro; sisters, Kathleen (Raymond) Dalle & Mary (Anthony) Callipare; in-laws, Jerome & Isabel McEvily; granddaughter, Shelby Rose McEvily.

She is survived by her children, James (Denise) McEvily, Jerome (Susan) McEvily, William J.(Stephanie Sutherland) McEvily Jr., Raymond (Kimberly) McEvily & Margaret (Steve Koch) Divens; grandchildren, Carissa (Ryan Burns) McEvily, Shawn McEvily, Mark (Kenzie) McEvily, Matthew (Monica) McEvily, Ryan McEvily, Ruby McEvily, Isabelle McEvily, Nicole (Ben) Angelo, Zachary (Courtney) McEvily, Benjamin (Sarah Posick) Divens, Abbey Divens, Adrianna Koch, Alexandrea Koch; 5 great-grandchildren & 1 on the way; many nieces, nephews & cousins.

For Rosalie, family was everything, she maintained strong bonds not only with her immediate family but extended family as well, always nurturing those connections with love and care. She shared 64 wonderful years with her beloved husband and life partner, William McEvily, a testament to their deep and enduring love. Rosalie had a gift for bringing people together. She loved hosting gatherings, especially at their cherished home on Keuka Lake, where many fond memories were made over the years. A dedicated social worker and active community member, Rosalie poured her heart into helping others, always striving to make a difference in the lives of those around her.

She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the joy she brought to every room and missed dearly by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held privately.
