Passed peacefully Monday, August 14, 2017 at age 91. She was predeceased by her parents, Leonard & Lucy Pizzi; son, David D'Amato; beloved grandson David D'Amato; and brother, Joseph Pizzi. She is survived by her children, Michael (Carmelita) D'Amato, Lucille (Steve) Schneider; daughter-in-law, Marguerite D'Amato; grandchildren, Tiffany (Kevin) Ambeau, Tammie (Peter) Raucci, Kristin Blessing, Brian (Jill) D'Amato, Gina (Brian) DeVine, great-grandchildren, Aiden, Landon, Adrianna, Giovanni, Adeline, Lance, Jacob, Brady, Emily; sister, Mary (John) Ferro; sister-in-law, Julie Pizzi; and nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 16th from 4-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Rose's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 AM at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Road. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to GRASP, PO Box 26741, Rochester, NY 14626.
