Rochester:
Passed away peacefully August 6th 2015 at the age of 98.
She is predeceased by her mother and father; beloved husband Joseph J. LaPlaca; son Dr. Robert W. LaPlaca; brothers Frank, Joseph, John and Angelo Palumbo; sisters Mary Palumbo, Philomena (Fannie) Maira and Adeline Mastrosiome.
She is survived by son Gary J. LaPlaca and daughter in law Beverly D. LaPlaca, brothers in law Cosimo (Jill) LaPlaca and Frank (Patty) LaPlaca.
Grandchildren Robert (Jenne), Jonathan, Dominique and Nathan.
Great grandchild Katelyn Rose LaPlaca; and many nieces and nephews.
Dearest friends Anne Rotella and Inge Chiruck.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave.
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday morning at 9:30 at Our Mother of Sorrows, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd.
Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Our Mother of Sorrow Church.
