Ruby L. Coley

ROCHESTER - She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. Ruby worked for more than 40 years in the service of the state of New York's 7th Judicial District, court system. As a youth and into adulthood, she enjoyed writing poetry and short stories. She was a huge fan of old-time radio and movies. Ruby was devoted to her family and treasured and respected by her friends, co-workers and peers alike. She was lain to rest in a small, private ceremony attended by family only, per her request. Ruby lived as she passed, July 26, 2019; on her own terms. Predeceased by: great-grandmother, Eunice Brown; mother and father, Alice and Robert Allen; beautiful cousin, Delores Willburn; great-niece, Precious Williams. Survived by: sisters, Eunice Pat Rosier and Barbara Allen, both in Georgia; daughters, Rochelle (Joseph) and Ronda; Son, Ronald; grandchildren, Sheldon, Nicole, Mason & Brooklyn; great-grandchild: Mechai; special cousins, Earl & Arlene King, both in Maryland, Eric Willburn and host of nieces, nephews and family
