Webster: Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at age 91. Predeceased by her husband, George W. Bair MD. She is survived by her loving sons, David D., Gregory C., and Thomas G. (Barbara) Bair; grandchildren, Joel, Daniel and Katie Bair, Rebekah Lucas; and many dear friends.
Ruth was a loving mother and friend. She earned her Master's Degree in Education, taught drama at R.L. Thomas with loving dedication to all her students, many of whom she was still in contact with. Upon her retirement she continued teaching special needs children at St. Joseph's Villa where she was given the Spirit of Care Award for her work. She will be loved and missed by all.
Family and friends may call Monday, April 19th, 5:00-7:30 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd, where her Funeral Service will follow at 7:30 PM. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Villa, 3300 Dewey Avenue, Rochester, NY 14616 in Ruth's memory.
