Rochester, New York
Passed away on November 16, 2025 at the age of 99.
Predeceased by her husband, David Whiteside; son, Geoffrey Johnson; parents, James & Mary Milne; and siblings.
She is survived by her son, Cris Johnson; granddaughter, Kara (Matthew) Russell; great-grandchildren, Owen, Piper, & Lyla; many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend thanks to the many compassionate aides that have helped care for Ruth over the last 4 years.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 23 from 11-2pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Boulevard. Interment at 10am on Monday, November 24 at Riverside Cemetery.
