Our precious angel was born on July 7 1928 and slept peacefully away on May 22 2014. She is predeceased by her parents and husband Dorothy Lee Gibson. She was the oldest of 20 children. Of those she is survived by 2 brothers, Sylvester Ziegler(JoAnn) of Bristol FL and Dave Ziegler of Tampa FL; 3 sisters, Celia M Townsend of Sanford FL, Mattie Pearl Jackson(John) of Melbourne FL and Rosa Scott of Monticello FL. Mrs. Gibson leaves to celebrate her legacy 10 children: Willie J Howell(Bridgette) of Arizona, daughter in law Charlene Anderson of Milwaukee Minnesota, Louzell M Culver-Crimes(James) of Batavia NY, son in law Thomas Culver of Sparta GA, Sheila D Gibson-Rankin(Roderick) of Rochester NY, Brodes J Gibson(Angela) of Batavia NY, daughter in law Ann Gibson of Lockport NY, Donnie B Gibson-Carter(Richard) of Lyndonville NY, Harry T Gibson of Batavia NY, Regina Butler of Rochester NY, son in law Duane Butler of Rochester NY, Lee D Gibson of Rochester NY, Melissa A Gibson Armstrong(Carl) of Rochester NY, Marilyn C Gibson of Rochester NY, a special son/ grandson Akeem Gibson, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was devoted to her family and friends and dedicated her life to serving the Lord. She was affectionately known as Mother Gibson and loved by all. She loved all of whom she came into contact with. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, singing God's praise and teaching the word. She carried her bible everywhere that she went. She was known for her kindness and homemade sweet potato pie.

The wake will be held on Friday, May 30 2014 from 1pm til 3pm with the service following from 3pm til 5pm at Living Word Temple of Restoration at 219 Stenson St Rochester NY. Family will receive fellowship following the service also at Living Word Temple of Restoration.

Interment will be Saturday, May 31 2014 at 11am in Lyndonville NY at Lynhaven Cemetery. Those that are able to come are welcome. If you are not familiar with the area, you are also welcomed to contact the family to follow someone there.
