Passed peacefully Friday, April 3, 2015 at age 89. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth and daughter, Patricia "Patti". He is survived by his children, Samuel P. (Kathleen) Sunseri, Christopher (Brenda) Sunseri, Maria Curcio; grandchildren, Angel (Gary) Hoppough, Anni Baxter, Matthew, Zachary (Leslie), Jordan (Kelly Thomas), Nathan Sunseri, Jenna Curcio, Ciccio Curcio; great-grandchildren, Zoe and Teagan Hoppough, Noel and Julian Thayer-Sunseri; brother, Antonio (Mary) Sunseri; and several nieces and nephews.
Sam was a United States Navy Veteran who proudly served his country during WWII.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 7th from 3-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Sam's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 AM at St.John the Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Rd. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to
the American Cancer Society.
