Passed away on July 10, 2026 at the age of 93.
Predeceased by his daughters, Marilynn Ann Becoats & Shirley Stone; father, Samuel Becoats Sr. & mother, Inez Becoats; and 6 siblings.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Thelma Becoats; children, Marshall (Ernestine) Becoats,Rachel Becoats, Latarsha Becoats; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Charles (Gail) Becoats, Agnes Smith, Susie Peters, Sherman (Elle) Becoats, Arlester (Gloria) Becoats & Rubin Becoats; many nieces, nephews, cousins & in-laws.
Family will receive friends on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, military honors will be rendered at 12:00 PM, a funeral service will immediately follow at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Boulevard.
A burial of ashes will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 1:00 PM, at 1133 Mt Hope Ave, Rochester, NY 14620. Those planning attend, please meet at the main entrance shortly before 1:00 PM.
