Predeceased parents, Cateno & Mary; brothers, Louis & James; & sisters, Rose Tkac & Margaret DiPasquale.
Survived by his wife of 46 years, Neta; Sons, Samuel & Timothy (Rebecca Sheldon); daughter, Sharon Hopkins; grandchildren, Juliana, Samuel Hopkins, & Ella Tumia; twin sister, Mary Cermola; sister Angie Coleman; brother-in-law, Peter Tkac; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Susan & Orren Vetter; many nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Sam was a plumber since 1955 with Local #13, a WWII Navy veteran, & a member of the VFW post 4658.
Calling hours will be Sunday, July 15, 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A service will take place the following day Monday, July 16, 10am at St. Judes Church, with burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
