Sandra A. Polo

Passed peacefully on Saturday April 12, 2025

She is survived by her beloved husband, John Polo. Children, Solomon Mercer and Alyssa (Dan) Basso. Grandchildren, Nathalie Mercer, Lauren Mercer, Benjamin Basso and Thomas Basso. Father, Norman Freeman. Siblings, Scott Freeman, Shawn Freeman, Shari (Tim) Studley, Kyle (Lindsay) Freeman. Nieces, Celeste Freeman, Kennedy Freeman and nephew, Jace Freeman. Many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is predeceased by her mother, Beverly Freeman.

Sandra loved supporting her family over the years. Whether it was coaching baseball, softball or cheerleading for her children or playing games, coloring and cheering on her grandchildren in all of their ventures. Sandra always made sure her loved ones felt safe and loved. She was always “only a phone call away”. 

Sandra enjoyed taking trips with her husband to enjoy the changing scenery around the parks and explore new places. Sandra had a wonderful group of friends that she considered family. She enjoyed spending time with them playing euchre, hanging poolside at cookouts, and attending sporting events! She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, both watching and attending games over the years.

The family will receive friends from 3:00pm-5:30pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.) A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to be announced by the family.
