Sara Pabon Feliciano, born in Lajas, PR on August 19, 1935, was called home by God March 3, 2026.
She will always be remembered for her selfless nature. She lost her mom Aurora when she was a teen. She moved to Rochester, NY in the late 1950’s and once she was established, she sent for her little brother and sister to raise as her own. She worked at Bonds Clothes until the birth of her 1st granddaughter. At that time, she decided to transition into a full-time Wela and homemaker. She became the one the whole family entrusted their children to, helping raise all the grandkids, nieces, nephews and godchildren. With boundless energy, she made her passion for cooking into income. You could buy frituraras, pasteles, and limbers from her. If you happened to stop by for a visit, there was always a plate of food for you. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Michael’s Church throughout her life here in Rochester. She was very active in the community, spreading the word of God and praying over those in need with special attention given to the prison population. In her spare time, you could find her working in her beautiful garden. She spent her final years living in Yauco, PR with the very loving care of her daughter Nancy.
We will miss you deeply and are so grateful to God for the 90 years of love you were able to give the world. Rest in eternal paradise cutie.
