Gates: Passed peacefully Monday, July 13, 2015 at age 82 with her family at her side. She was predeceased by her daughter, Josephine DiTucci-Geary; brothers, Frank and Sal. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Damiano; children, Rose Ann (Steven) DeMayo, Daniel, David, Andrew (Paula); grandchildren, Hillary, Matthew (Caitlin Steinke), Brian, Nicholas, Nathan, Krystal and nieces and nephews. Sarah and Damiano were involved in the Food Cupboard at St. Andrew's Church for 30 years. Sarah will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all.
There will no prior calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 16th at 9:30AM at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Rd. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials contributions may be directed to St. Andrew's School Cupboard, 890 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621.
