Serafino S. Arnone

Rochester-

Passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 86. 

Predeceased by his parents, Salvatore & Concetta Arnone; sisters, Florence Donofrio, Francis Arnone & Joanna Cringoli; brothers, Peter, Ralph, Sal, Michael, & Joe Arnone.

He is survived by the love of his life of 61 years, Barbara Ann Arnone; children, Sherri (John Lundberg) Rossi, Salvatore Arnone, Serafino (Lisa Cocilova) Arnone, Christopher (Patricia) Arnone, Tracy (James) Maio; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews; & beloved dog Reily.

Sar brought the joy of music to the Rochester community for many years as a talented saxophonist. His home resonated with the melodies of his dedication for his family to enjoy. A cherished member of various bands, including the Billy Mann Trio, Sar's music touched many hearts. Beyond his musical talents, he spent 50 years as a skilled barber, proudly owning and operating his own shop in Rochester, where he built lasting relationships with his clients 

Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 2, from 3-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A funeral service will be held the following morning, January 3, 11am at Riverside Cemetery Chapel.
