Sgt. Anthony Earl Smith

Passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 72. 

Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Anna Smith; son, Shawn DeAnthony Smith; granddaughter, Zaharia Smith; & brothers, Charles Jr. & Ralph Smith.

He is survived by his siblings, Sharon Smith, Donel Smith, Evon Smith, & Janet Baxter; step-children, Lakita Kane & Antoinette Strong; many aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Anthony was a career serviceman for the United States Marine Corps. serving 32 years. He worked his way up the ranks in the service, retiring as a Drill Sergeant, which he loved. He achieved a Bronze metal during his time of service.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 1pm at Riverside Cemetery, 2650 lake Ave.
