Passed peacefully Thursday, March 19, 2015 at age 80. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Richard; grandchildren, Megan, Alisha and Katelyn Johnson; brothers, Thomas and Jim Bommelje; nephews, Timothy, Bruce and Steven Carter and dear friend, Susan Johnson. Shirley was a lifelong New York Yankees Fan.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 24th from 5-8PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Private Interment. Those wishing to remember Shirley may consider a donation to the Humane Society at Lollypop
