Greece: Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at age 84. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Glenn E. Rice; her daughters, Kim Rice, Dottie Savage and Sharon Romaniak; her grandchildren, Jamie Hargather (Greg Gonyea), Kristen Savage Merlo (Nick), Stacey Savage Cacchio (Chad), Kelly Hinds (Jeff), Ted Romaniak (Carolyn), Vicky Romaniak; 14 great-grandchildren, and expecting baby Gonyea.

Shirley was a former Greece School crossing guard and a General Motors employee. She was a member of the John Knox Presbyterian Church. She loved spending time with her family.

The family would like to extend their special thanks to The Hurlbut and to Lifetime Care for all their support.

The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Monday, Sept. 29th, at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Her Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, Sept. 30th at the funeral home. Private Interment.
