Rochester- Stephanus J. Bruinsma, 95, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 surrounded by the love of his family.
Steve was born in Heemstede, the Netherlands, on August 24, 1923 to the late Stephanus and Johanna Bruinsma.
Steve is predeceased by his beloved wife, Sara Bruinsma, stepfather and his five siblings.
He is survived by his daughter, Johanna Bruinsma, and a host of family in both The United States and the Netherlands.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626, on Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 9:00am-11:00am with a service to immediately follow.
