Steven F. Elensky

Steven F. Elensky, of Rochester, NY, passed away at 82 years old, on August 28, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.

He is resting peacefully in his new home with God.

Born on November 28, 1943, in Clearfield, PA, to Charles and Louise Elensky.

Steve began his career in construction at F.H. Fredman Co., later to start his own business, S.E. Specialty Company and Son, for 25+ years, a well-respected and recognized caulking company across New York State, from which he retired in 2015.

He will be remembered for his caring heart, strong family values, excellent cooking, maintaining a pristine lawn and shiny cars, along with his mischievous smile and stunning blue eyes.

Steve is survived by his wife of 64 years, Linda (Cookie) Elensky; his children, Yvonne (John) Kier, Steve Jr, (Jean) Elensky, Andrea (Rob) Sciarrone, and Michele (Scott) McEneany; his 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way; and his sister, Emma (John) Hayes.

A celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Jamieson Ritter Memorial Lodge, 1122 Lake Road, Webster, NY, from 2 - 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital or simply make the time to spend with loved ones.
