Eppie was dearly loved by many, especially her family and friends. She is survived by; her sisters, Joette Hartman, Ronette, and special brother-in-law, Brian “Cac” Caccamise; her cousin and best friend, Kimmy (Glenn) Hickey; her nephew, Kristopher “Dude,” niece, Brittney; her great-niece, Bella, and great-nephew, Mikey “Dog Wonder”; her brothers, Shawn (Kristen) and Ryan (Kait) Staples; her stepmother, Evie (Paul) Reichhart and her loving family; her mother- and father-in-law, Amy and John Scobey; her sister-in-law, Rachel (Todd); her beloved cats, Fireball and Zim as well as dear friends, Connie (Chris) Montana and Kelly Cullen-Walsh, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
As an RN, she was a dedicated member of the nursing staff at the University of Rochester for 31 years, a role she truly cherished. Suzie cherished her co-workers who meant the world to her.
Knowing Suzette was like meeting a true angel. Though small in stature, she had a heart larger than life. She was devoted to her faith and always saw the goodness in everything.
Suzie was also a familiar and cherished face at her favorite local spots, including Romig’s, Russell Station, and many other establishments around town, where she was a loyal and frequent patron, always leaving behind warmth, laughter, and friendship. She had friends everywhere and touched countless lives.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Suzette Eppie “Suzie” by performing a kind gesture for others and passing it on.
