Tanya Scott, born March 8th 1967. She passed peacefully at the young age of 59, on 8/12/26. She proudly worked at U of R as an LPN. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt & Friend. Leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience that will always be remembered by everyone that knew her. She loved her family dearly but her pride and joy was her grandchildren. She was everything to her daughters and she will truly be missed.

Predeceased by her Father, Fred Scott, Sr.; Mother, Mary F. Scott; Brother, Fred Scott Jr..

She is survived by her Daughters, Jasmine (Markeith) Logan and Ashley (Joslyn) Cook; Grandchildren, Nazier Williams and Winter Logan; Sister, Jeanie Scott, Shirley Martin, Barbara Scott, Peggy Coley, Roberta Hobby, and Alberta Scott; Brother, David Scott; Special Sister Friend, Mary McToy; many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, August 25th, 2026 from 12:00PM to 1:00PM at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals (6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609). A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00PM.
