His musical repertoire spanned a multitude of genres, but it was his profound love for the rock music of the 80s and 90s, and the music of his top idol, Eddie Van Halen, that truly defined his artistic expression. Whether performing with various bands or simply enjoying the vibrant sounds of his favorite tracks, he brought an infectious enthusiasm to every note. His passion for music was not just a personal pursuit; it formed a connected thread throughout his relationships, drawing friends and family alike into the joyous experience he regularly created.
Ted was extremely proud of his Pontian Greek heritage, Ted wore his roots with pride, cherishing the traditions and values that his culture imparted. His love for life was complemented by his affinity for the Dallas Cowboys, a team he cheered for with fervor. Ted found joy not only in music and sports but also in the laughter that accompanied good times with loved ones. He was known to be opinionated yet possessed a delightful sense of humor, often indulging in the comedic brilliance of his favorite shows, including Saturday Night Live.
Family was paramount in Ted's life. He leaves behind his cherished daughters, Julia and Alexa Karabinas, who brought him immense pride and joy. His unwavering love extended to his devoted parents, Nikolaous and Irini Karabinas, and his brother, Dimitrios Karabinas.
Ted's visitation will be held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 962 East Ave in Rochester, New York, on November 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass celebrating his life at 11:00 AM. His burial service will follow his Mass at Grove Place Cemetery in Rochester.
