Predeceased by parents, Elsie and Paul Epping and grandson, Carl Harter II.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Epping; 4 children; Alynda Sutton, Suzanne (Carl) Harter, John (Elaine) Epping, Patricia (Glenn) Owens; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Ted graduated from Rochester's Madison High School, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He was a respected architect, travel agent and world traveler.
He will have a private burial now and a memorial service on his 100th birthday on September 30th at Asbury First United Methodist Church on East Ave., at 11AM with a reception to follow.
