Passed away on April 8, 2026 at the age of 70.
Predeceased by his son, Theodore "Teddy" S. Piendel; parents, Theodore B. Piendel Sr. & Eleanor Piendel.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Piendel; daughter, Erica (James) Feider; grandaughter, Fern; siblings, Anne, Richard, Patricia, & Timothy; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ted Piendel passed away after a courageous battle with leukemia. Strong like his personality - he handled this journey with every ounce of strength and grit. Ted will be remembered for his witty sense of humor; which was still intact even in the midst of illness
Ted retired from Kodak after many years of hard work and dedication. Ted also enjoyed many side projects that often involved woodworking, or assisting his wife with unique projects around the house and "inventing" small tools that would make you think - "Only Ted would come up with that idea in 10 minutes" .
He took great pride in his beloved "camp" and was eager to share how he had transformed the previous A frame hunting camp into a cozy "home away from home"
Ted showed immense love for his family, especially for his wife Patricia, son Teddy, and daughter Erica, and granddaughter Fern. Fern was an especially bright light in his life for almost 2 years. He would tell everyone that he was a proud grandfather and instantly show them a photo, grinning proudly.
