Passed away on, January 23, 2016 at the age of 75.
Predeceased by his Parents, Evelyn Wendland and John Balecia and sister, Barbara Hall.
He is survived by his loving Wife of 55 years, Nancy; daughters, Jacquelyn (John) Means, Kimberly (Leonard) Lonobile, and Carla Balecia.
9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Tom was employed at the Alfred I. Dupont Institute in Wilmington Delaware for many years and when he retired, he was the director of orthotics. His work in providing braces and casts for many children made him a great success. He loved life and especially people, he loved updating them with his many great stories.
His hobbies were many, he loved cooking and spent lots of time as a chef creating beautiful food and catered many parties. He loved to find old homes and make them into new. One hobby which he was always proud of was his outdoor yard and garden work, working both for others and himself.
He knew what he wanted in life and always went after it and most always succeeded. His faith in the lord Jesus Christ and the dedication of many hours of work to him helped him to be a success.
Family will receive friends Saturday January 30th at 9am-11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1250 English Rd, Rochester, NY 14616 followed by a Funeral Service at 11am. Interment will be held at Canaseraga Cemetery at the convenience of the family .
