Thomas Patrick Kinsella

Left this earth surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his brother, Daniel Thomas Kinsella.

He is survived by his parents, Robert F. Kinsella Jr. and Marlene Patricia Kinsella; brothers, Robert F. III (Maureen), William M. (Suzanne), John Lawrence (Kelly) and youngest brother, LK. Tom had many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and too many cousins to list by name. 

Tom's aunt Kathy was very special to him. Kathy's love and support to her sister Pattie is, and always has been, priceless. 

Tom's best friend and love of his life was his dog Jack AKA "Jackie Boy". Jack just turned 11, and because of his ailing health the family agreed that Jack should be with Tom. Tom and Jackie boy had a bond that was pure love. Tom took better care of Jack than himself. Jack saved Tom's life 3 times.

Tom was a U.S. Army Veteran; a military burial will send Tom and Jackie boy to heaven.

Tom was born in San Antonio, Texas. In 1974, Bob and Pattie decided after moving 17 times and building a family of 6 boys, it was time to get back home to Rochester, NY. raising the boys in Brighton, NY. 

Tom loved playing all sports- soccer, baseball, and he could hit a golf ball straight and high. He also loved the outdoors and walking everywhere. Allen's Creek was in the backyard at 40 Idlewood. Creek walking, which Tom had a style all of his own; jumping from rock to rock, never falling in. His passion for nature and animals was his life.

Tom wasn't a T.V. guy, he was an avid reader; Ranger Rick, National Geographic. He read every issue from 1970 until his passing- thousands of books. 

Tom believed in being 100% transparent. He was an awesome brother, kind son, and played the hand he was dealt as best as possible. Alcohol, drug dependency, and mental health issues play a part in so many families. Tom's overdose is being shared because Bob and Pattie want all to know: If you have a son or daughter that struggles, don't give up, don't ever give up. Miracles never cease.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 29th from 12-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. A Funeral Service will be held 10:30am on Thursday, July 30th at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 601 Edgewood Ave. Inurnment with military honors to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
