Timothy Scott Gugel

Timothy Scott Gugel, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 60 in his hometown of Rochester, New York. Born on January 6, 1965, Tim was a dedicated professional who spent his career specializing in the installation and repairs of car washes, a role that showcased his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Tim was known for his spirited personality and his love for adventure. He enjoyed riding his electric scooter, which became a symbol of his zest for life. Additionally, he had a keen interest in computer technology, always eager to learn and engage with the latest innovations.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Olena Shkinder-Gugel, and his two sons, Jarod and Joshua Gugel, who were the pride and joy of his life. He also leaves behind his cherished sister, Kathy (David) Jarlenski, and his brothers, Geoffery (Christina) Gugel and Michael Gugel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Ward Gugel, who provided him with a strong foundation of love and support throughout his life.

A visitation in honor of Timothy will be held on November 3, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, Eastside, located at 6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY. This will be followed by a funeral service on November 4, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM, also at the New Comer Funeral Home.

Timothy Scott Gugel's presence will be sorely missed, but his legacy will live on through the memories shared by those who knew and loved him.
